Sitaram Shadbindu Taila

Description

Description

Shadbindu Taila is a classical herbal preparation traditionally prescribed for Nasya (nasal instillation). It helps to clear the body—particularly the Uttamanga (head)—of Kapha and Pitta imbalances while harmonising the tridoshas. This time-tested oil is a carefully crafted blend of tridoshahara herbs and roots in a rich sesame oil base fortified with goat’s milk, offering both therapeutic healing and deep nourishment.

Ingredients

• Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata): Pacifies aggravated Vata and helps relieve discomfort.

• Shatapushpa (Anethum graveolens): Helps relieve spasms.

• Eranda Moola (Ricinus communis): Soothes inflammation associated with mucous membranes.

• Tagara (Valeriana jatamansi): Stimulates the central nervous system, promoting relaxation and calm.

Benefits

• Balances the Tridoshas: Renowned for its ability to harmonise the tridoshas around the head, neck, and shoulders, helping to support hormonal balance.

• Prevents Recurrent Colds and Flu: Therapeutic Nasya with Shadbindu Taila is recommended during seasonal changes to help clear excess phlegm and protect the nasal passages and oral cavity from microbes and infection.

• Relieves Chronic Headaches: Helps soothe the heat and discomfort associated with Pitta-Vata imbalances in the head and neck region.

• Supports Healthy Vision: Enhances the performance of the sense organs located in the head, helping to sharpen vision, hearing, smell, and taste.

Usage

• Adults: 2 to 4 drops in each nostril.

• Children: 1 to 2 drops in each nostril.

• For optimal results, administer after applying a mild steam to the neck region. (Dosages may be adjusted based on individual constitution and the severity of the condition).
