PATHOPHYSIOLOGY OF VARICOCELE
Pathophysiology of varicocele is based on the cause of the disease. It forms when the valves inside the veins in the cord prevent the proper blood flow. The resulting backup causes the stasis of blood in the veins and it becomes dilated. This might cause damage to the testicle and result in decreased sperm production.
