PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
The infections are transmitted through contaminated food and water. The changes in the small bowel are typically non-inflammatory, while the ones in the large bowel are inflammatory. The infection spreads to the mesenteric lymph nodes. Finally, the symptoms are manifested.

Nadi Shuddi Pranayam – calms the mind and is effective in abdominal discomfort
Le patient doit être assis dans une position méditative, la tête et la colonne vertébrale droites, et le corps détendu. Le patient doit fermer une narine (par exemple la narine gauche s'il utilise la main droite et vice versa) avec le pouce et expirer complètement par l'autre narine. Il devra à nouveau inspirer profondément par l'autre narine tout en continuant à fermer la narine opposée avec le pouce.
Les pratiques de shatkriya ou techniques de nettoyage yogique purifient le corps et préviennent les problèmes digestifs.
