Duralabharishtam is an Ayurvedic medicine for piles, anal fissures and fistulae, and diseases of digestive system. It relieves constipation and enhances digestive fire.

Avantages de la Duralabharishtam

It is useful mostly in painful & non-bleeding piles. It helps to heal fistulae and fissures in the early stages. It can prevent the complications of these diseases, too. It enhances Agni (digestive fire), removes blockages in the lower part of Gastro Intestinal Tract and relieves constipation. By regulating the proper movement of Apaanavaayu, it gives relief to many types of aches and pains in the lower abdomen, back and hip area.

It is useful in piles, grahani and all other diseases of digestive system. It helps in irritable bowel syndrome, anaemia, skin diseases, ascites, food poisoning, fever, swelling etc.

It is beneficial in visceral problems like splenomegaly, hepatic disorders, heart diseases, pain & distension of abdomen, indigestion, belching, flatulence, etc.

It improves digestive & absorptive power in deficiency diseases and compromised immunity like tuberculosis. It is beneficial in vomiting and intestinal parasites.

It is more anulomana, than abhayarishta and does all the benefits of abhayarishta which are,

  • Agnim karoti – enhances digestive fire.

  • Grahani – Disorders of peristalsis& absorption, irritable bowel syndrome.

  • Kushtha – Skin diseases
  • Udara – Ascites
  • Gara – Food poisoning or slow & mixed poisoning
  • Jwara – Fever
  • Swayathu – Swelling
  • Pleeha – Splenomegaly
  • Hrudroga – Heart diseases
  • Gulmam – various kinds of gas trouble, distension of abdomen and indigestion.
  • Yakshma – Tuberculosis

Ingrédients de Duralabharishtam

Stinging nettle Duralabha Tragia involucrata Linn.

This plant is used in many conditions like wounds, eczema, scabies and other skin infections. It has anti-inflammatory property. It is used to treat piles, migraine, warts and rheumatism.

Red physic nut/wild croton Danthi Baliospermum montanum

Pungent in taste and hot in potency, it is well known as a strong purgative. It is also a stimulant. It is used in the treatment of haemorrhoids, calculi, abdominal pain, itching, leprosy, burning sensation, inflammation, abdominal disorders, bleeding disorders, and worm infestation.

 It has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic actions. This plant is used to treat gynaecological conditions. Patha is used in the treatment of chronic non-healing ulcers and sinuses. It is also used in the treatment of chronic skin diseases and in the treatment of poisonous bites. 

Ceylon leadwort Agni/Chitraka Plumbago zeylanica L.

 

It aids digestion and increases appetite. It has anti-inflammatory action. It can also be used in liver diseases. 

Myrobalan Chebulic

 

Vijaya /Abhaya/Pathya Terminalia chebula RETZ. & WILLD.

It is one of the main drugs in Ayurveda, one of the Rasayana and a member of an important group, Triphala. It is used in a wide variety of diseases as it possesses anti-bacterial, antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-diabetic, anti-mutagenic, anti-oxidant, anti-ulcer, and wound-healing properties

Amla exhibits strong antioxidant activity. It is one of the most important plants in the traditional Ayurvedic medical system as well as in other traditional health systems for immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, antiulcer and hepatoprotective actions. It is widely used for anti-diabetic effect. 

Gingembre séché Nagara/Sunthi Zingiber officinalis

Large leaf beauty Phalini Callicarpa macrophylla Vahl.

It is used in the treatment of tumours, polydipsia, diarrhoea, dysentery, diabetes, fever etc. It is found beneficial in the management of inflammations, rheumatism, haematuria, fracture, haematemesis, menoxenia, gastro-intestinal bleeding, scrofula etc.

 It is useful in treating indigestion, abdominal colic, worm infestation, poisoning, anorexia, productive cough, asthma, bronchitis, fever, diarrhoea, IBS, haemorrhoids, fistula, chronic respiratory disorders, throat disorders, and rheumatic conditions.

 As already discussed, Duralabharishtam has 12 herbal ingredients, Ghrita

Honey and Sugar.

Tous les ingrédients végétaux doivent être bien lavés et séchés à l'ombre.

Prendre

  • Duralabha 1 Prastha,

 

  • Danthi
  • Paatha
  • Agni
  • Vijaya               2 Pala each
  • Vaasa
  • Aamalaka
  • Naagara

In a clean vessel.

Add 16 Prastha clean water into it. Make it boil. The fire should be kept low to make sure that all the active ingredients in the herbs needed are absorbed well into the water. Make sure to mix it in between with a wooden ladle. Reduce the quantity into one by fourth of the initial quantity. Once the quantity is reduced to one by fourth of the initial amount of water, remove the vessel from the fire. Squeeze and drain through a clean white cloth. Collect the decoction in a clean vessel and discard the solid waste. To this decoction, add 100 Pala of sugar and 16 Pala of Dhataki flower.

It should be transferred into an earthen pot coated inside with a paste of Phalini,Krishna, chavya, aajya, maakshika and ghruta. Cover it with a clean white cloth and keep it closed and airtight. Keep it for fifteen days in a dark place with low temperature. After fifteen days, open it and filter through a clean white cloth. Keep it in an airtight glass bottle. Arishtam can be used for a longer period of time without any preservatives.

Dosage and Usage of Duralabhararishtam

Dosage : 25-30 ml après les repas

Utilisation :

Il est conseillé de prendre Arishtam après les repas, une fois que les aliments ingérés et Arishtam sont digérés ensemble.

Il est pris deux ou trois fois par jour, immédiatement après les repas.

Duralabharishtam is explained as a special combination with specific mode of intake.

For the proper expulsion of foeces and Adhovaayu in a patient with haemorrhoids, it is advised to be taken Pragbhakta(before food/empty stomach) mixed with Ghee processed with fruits with sour taste/Ghee processed with Chavya,Chitraka,Yavakshara and guda/ Ghee processed withPippaleemoola, Guda, Yavakshara and Naagara. 

Exercices et yoga.

As Duralabharishtam targets mainly GIT and excretory system, following stretching exercises and specific yoga asanas like pavanamuktasana, vajrasana, bhujangasana etc for lower back and abdomen recommended.

Des repas légers et des aliments faciles à digérer

Gramme vert, soupes, babeurre bouilli avec du curcuma, du gingembre et des feuilles de curry.

 Comportement :

Il est préférable d'éviter une exposition excessive à la lumière du soleil, au vent, à la pluie ou à la poussière.

Évitez de soulever des poids lourds et de pratiquer d'autres activités physiques intenses.

Maintenir une alimentation et un sommeil réguliers.

Évitez de vous asseoir continuellement pendant une longue période et évitez de vous accroupir.

Effets secondaires et contre-indications

Aucun effet secondaire connu n'a été signalé.

Les diabétiques et les personnes souffrant d'ulcère gastrique ne doivent pas prendre d'arishta-asavas.
