Rasnadi thailam is an Ayurvedic medicine used in the treatment of diseases affecting the head. This medicine is in the form of herbal oil. It is also known as rasnadasamooladi tailam.

MÉTODO DE PREPARACIÓN
Oil prepared with the decoction of the above-mentioned drugs, the paste of madhuka, cow’s milk and Sesame oil/ coconut oil.
PREDOMINIO DOSHA- DUSHYA Y ROGA MARGA
- Dosha – This medicine is recommended for the treatment of vata dosha imbalance.
- Dushya- useful in diseases affecting rasa, raktha, mamsa,asthi,majja dhatu – pain in and around the head

DOSIS Y USO
Rasnadi taila is to be administered as nasal medication. The person is given gentle massage and fomentation on forehead and face, followed by instillation of 2 to 4 drops of taila into each nostril or as directed by an Ayurvedic doctor.
EJERCICIOS Y YOGA

The patient needs to be seated in a meditative posture with the head and spine erect, with the body relaxed. Patient has to close his one nostril (e.g. left nostril if using the right hand and vice versa) with the thumb and exhale completely through the other nostril. Again, he will have to breathe in deeply through the other nostril while the opposite nostril is still closed with the thumb.

- Avoid smoking and alcohol

- This medicine should only administer as per the direction by the physician.
- It is better to avoid by women in the puerperium, patients having the first stage of rhinitis and patient with cough and breathing difficulty.
