Salmali ghrutham is an Ayurvedic medicine for diabetes and related disorders. It is used also in the treatment of debilitated body, loss of libido etc.
Benefits of Salmali ghrutham
Salmali ghee combination is used either as acchasnehapana as a preparatory procedure to Ayurvedic Panchakarma (cleansing therapy) or as samanasneha in small doses after having Kashaya or other rookshana medicines for a while. It helps to regain health after the Rookshana (drying up) therapies.
It is used in the treatment of diabetes.
It purifies the urine output from the body. It can clear the channels and regulate water and electrolyte balance. It can be used in many complications of diabetes due to dhaatukshaya. It is used in erectile dysfunction, loss of libido & vigour, emaciation, peripheral neuropathy, fatigue etc.
As it gives strength and energy to the person it can be used as a rasayana after deepana-paachana therapies in tuberculosis, cancer, aids or any other chronic degenerative or immune-compromised condition.
