What is heerak bhasma used for?

 It is an Ayurvedic medicine used in the treatment of broad spectrum of diseases including heart diseases, diabetes, and tuberculosis. This medicine contains processed diamond. This medicine should only take as per the direction by physician.

MÉTODO DE PREPARACIÓN

 

Purified heerak (diamond) powdered first then equal quantity of rasa sindoora, purified gandhaka are added and ground well. Then heated and allowed to cool down. This process is repeated for 14 times to obtain heerak bhasma of desired quality.

 

  • Preparation of rasasindoora –It is prepared with special kupipakwa method

96 gm of purified parada and 96 gm of purified gandhaka triturated continuously to get a homogenous black coloured mixture known as kajjali. This kajjali again grounded with juice of vatankura. This mixture filled in an amber coloured glass bottle with 750 ml capacity. Bottle wrapped with mud smeared cloth. Subjected to heating and after cooling, red coloured rasasindoora powder collected.

  • Detoxification of mercury– Ground with juice of Aloevera, Triphala(Terminalia chebula,Terminalia bellerica,Emblica officinalis),root of chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica) each for 7 days.
  • Desintoxicación de Gandhaka - frito en ghee y sumergido en leche de vaca repetido durante 7 veces.

 

PREDOMINIO DOSHA- DUSHYA Y ROGA MARGA

 

  • Dosha – This medicine is recommended for the treatment of vata, pitta, and kapha dosha imbalance.
  • Dushya- useful in diseases affecting rasa, raktha, mamsa medo dhatu – anaemia, obesity, Dyslipidaemia
  • Roga marga - Este medicamento puede administrarse en enfermedades que afectan a todos los roga marga
  • Bahya roga marga – inflammatory conditions
  • Abhyanthara roga marga – respiratory diseases
  • Madhyama roga marga – diabetes, heart diseases

 

 

 

Heerak Bhasma  DOSAGE

 

Take 3 to 7 mg after food twice daily along with honey or as directed by an Ayurvedic doctor.

Yoga and Pranayama are a set of breathing and stretching exercises respectively, widely practiced in the treatment of many diseases.

Patient needs to be seated in a meditative posture with the head and spine erect, with the body relaxed. Patient has to close his one nostril (e.g. left nostril if using right hand and vice versa) with the thumb and exhale completely through the other nostril. Again, he will have to breathe in deeply through the other nostril while the opposite nostril is still closed with the thumb.   

DIETA Y COMPORTAMIENTO RECOMENDADOS

  • Evitar los alimentos que producen desequilibrio dosha como el frío, más salado, agrio y alimentos secos, difíciles de digerir. Porque el desequilibrio de dosha agrava los síntomas.
  • Consumir alimentos de fácil digestión
  • Avoid heavy exercises which further aggravate cardiac symptoms.
  • Avoid smoking, soft drinks and alcohol
